Calgary's Premier Hackathon
CalgaryHacks is a sprint-style contest designed to promote creativity, collaboration, and innovative thinking.
Since 2017, the University of Calgary's Computer Science Undergraduate Society (CSUS) has challenged students to develop innovative solutions to a wide variety of problems in a 24-hour sprint programming competition. Groups of up to 5 students will test their programming skills and network with our panel of judges.
CalgaryHacks 2025 will be on February 15-16, the first weekend of Reading Break for the University of Calgary. We invite all post-secondary and highschool students studying in Canada to compete.
Forge valuable friendships with talented participants as you collaborate to complete your project.
Challenge yourself to experiment with new tools, platforms, or concepts.
Meet our amazing judges when you pitch your solution.
Empower students to experiment with unfamiliar technologies and use them to create solutions to significant problems.
We want CalgaryHacks to become a flagship hackathon where students across Canada are invited to collaborate, experiment, and network.
CalgaryHacks 2025 will be in-person. We will be hosting the opening ceremonies, workshops, judging, and closing ceremonies in ICT 102. We also have a discord that you can join after registering on devpost.
